How commissions work
Calibre builds watches to order in small annual runs. A viewing request submitted through the site is not an automated purchase — the atelier replies with current waitlist position and pricing for the reference you’re asking about, and a deposit and commission agreement are arranged directly at the viewing.
Waitlists and edition sizes
Published edition sizes are our current annual production estimate for that reference and may shift with bench capacity. Limited references are allocated in the order deposits are received.
Service
Every watch we build is accompanied by a movement service record. Full-service overhauls are carried out on our own bench for the life of the piece, at the owner’s request.
Ownership of design
Caliber architecture and case designs remain Calibre’s property; a commission conveys the finished watch, not manufacturing or movement rights, unless agreed separately in writing.
