We rejected three prototype column-wheel geometries before settling on Cal. 19-CH’s — the earlier versions timed accurately but felt mushy under the pusher, and a chronograph that doesn’t feel decisive to start is a chronograph nobody trusts under pressure.
Regate owners tend to actually use the complication, which is rarer than you’d think at this level.
