Trente-Six is deliberately the simplest thing we make, which is exactly why it’s the hardest to get away with rushing. No complication to distract from a badly drawn bevel or an uneven graining — every one that leaves the bench has to earn the case it goes into on finishing alone.
It’s also the reference most of our own apprentices cut their teeth regulating.
